Fairypants is based in Chester and all of their products are made by hand, which ensures great quality and means you know that a lot of care has gone into each product. They were nice enough to send me a couple of goodies to try out, which have now got me wishing payday was closer so I can buy a few more products.
I'm always happy to find different vegan cosmetics, especially when they are handmade in the UK and are affordable. I was, therefore, over the moon when a friend of mine introduced me to a brand created by one of her friends - it's all about who you know.

Out of all the beauty subscription boxes I've tried over the last few months, LoveLula is by far the best. This is the third box I've received from them and I've never been disappointed with the contents and this month is no different.
Once again, I got a lovely selection of skincare treats. While it would have been nice to get more makeup, the beauty products they fill the boxes with are always so great that I'm not all that fussed. This time around, I got a great selection of full-sized, sample-sized and small extras that gave me plenty to try out. Another month another round of beauty favourites. You might think that I can't possibly have any new products to try this month, but I've given a few a good go. While some of the samples and treats I've been sent this much haven't really piqued my interest, there are a few things that I've been really happy with.
As well as taking care of my skin even more so than usual - the joys of autumn cause me issues - I've also been looking for some great makeup for the season. This has resulted in four items that I feel are really worth mentioning and that you should definitely try out. Here are my beauty favourites for September: Yes, I know that August has come and gone, but my holiday put me behind on some of my reviews as I didn't get the products until I got back to work. As I like to give everything a good try before I give my verdict, I've held off on writing up the contents of my August LoveLula box until I had something more to say than 'the products smell nice' - which they definitely do.
Now that I've been using everything for a few weeks, I've got a better idea as to what they are like on my skin, and I have to say I am really impressed. Everything in this box was just as good as last months so I was really excited to get September's and give that a try too (which I am now doing). I definitely recommend signing up for a monthly beauty box as it is such good value for money and is the perfect way to try gorgeous products without having to pay through the nose. Here's what I thought of August's haul: I've tried yet more beauty products this month - yes I know, I have a problem - and have got some new favourites. My beauty routine has gone through a few changes over the last few months and I am super happy with the results I've been getting. Here are just a few products that are making a difference on top of last month's beauty favourites.
