However, even my surgeon said that if you don't give yourself permission to relax sometimes, it can make the whole process a lot harder. With this in mind, I let myself have some treats over Christmas and - just as with every year previously - I did put some weight on. It was only a couple of pounds but still, seeing the numbers go baack up on the scales was pretty hard after doing so well.
After thinking about it though, I was okay with it. I hadn't totally undone alll the work I've put in and I had a totally fab Christmas that I wouldn't change at all - even if I do have more to lose now to reach my January target.
