I would love to write a blog about every single thing I recieved, but this would get a bit much - although I'm not saying that a few goodies won't pop up soon as I did get some lovely beauty items. Instead, I've picked out a few things that I really love, which isn't to say anything on this list isn't also awesome, that I want to share with you.
Thank you to those who gave me these and every other gift that I unwrapped over the Christmas period, they are very much appreciated and I feel so lucky and loved. I'm still unpacking some bits from our travels too, so getting reminded of what everyone gave me is making me smile all over again.
Moorland Pottery Mug
I also love that my big brother got one too that read 'Devon Born and Bred', which really does sum him up. This mug was going to go to my office, but I think it's far too nice to risk it getting broken - although the husband is one of the clumsiest people alive so even my house isn't totally safe.

Harry Potter Wax Seal Set
I'd previously looked into getting a custom wax stamp made but it was fairly pricey so I just gave up on the idea but have still wanted a set as I think they make letters look a bit more special. I also fricking love Harry Potter - my husband doesn't - so this was the ideal alternative.
It really made me laugh and I've already written a letter to my sister just so I had an excuse to use it. I've also started looking at replacement wax sticks so I can keep using it - I think I need to get Slytherin and Ravenclaw colours next.
Game of Thrones awesomness
Both of us love GoT and I'm a huge fan of the books - you seriously need to read them, even if it will take a year of your life - so this was ideal. I have to admit that the Hodor doorstop may have been a bit too soon after the last series - poor hodor :( - but it was also incredibly funny and I think the husband laughed for a solid five minutes at it.
Tyrion is our favourite character and always has the best lines, so the plaque was also perfect. I can also confirm that being drunk all the time really isn't easy. I may need to get a similar sign that says 'It's what I do. I drink and I know things' to go in my home office so we can fill our house with the imp's wisdom.
All things Bowie
As well as CDs to save me having to listen to my poor downloaded versions of my favourite songs, my mother-in-law also got me the necklace I've been eyeing up for ages from Bete Noire Jewellery and my husband found me an authentic film cell from The Labyrinth. Not only is the cell from an amazing movie, he also found one from my favourite scene.
I honestly cried a little bit when I opened each of these and was so impressed with the effort my husband had put in to finding me the perfect gifts. However, he may soon get sick of nothing but Bowie playing in my house.
Nikon Coolpix
He honestly did so well this year and opening this present last made me so happy. He's been really supportive of my blog and is constantly having to wait for me while I take photos for it so this just fit perfectly. Not only did he get a camera in my favourite colour, he also listened to everything I have said over the months about what I want from my camera.
This is genuinely the best option for me and has ticked all the boxes, so get ready for me to start experimenting more with my photos. What makes this gift even better is that now I have a new laptop, I can start taking photos to be edited and start exploring my interest in this area more.
However, I have had to kick my husband's ass for totally blowing the budget we set (I may have done this too but nowhere near as badly).
Cornish Dragon Cross Stitch
I feel really lucky to have parents who would put so much time and energy into a gift for me, which makes this extra special. What's even better is the fact that it is totally unique and no one will ever have one exactly the same.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, however you choose to celebrate and aren't mourning its passing too much now we've started the new year.
