- On a spur of the moment, I decided to book myself some tickets to go to York at the weekend. I spent the day walking around, exploring places I hadn't been before and visiting some old haunts. To top it all off, I didn't get anxious once, which is a big thing for me.
- I may have moaned about the snow when it stopped me walking to work and meant it was freezing, but it definitely makes the city beautiful. So long as it doesn't ruin my travel plans next month or make me fall over, snow's okay by me.
- This blog constantly opens up opportunities for me, including a free gin tasting session, which was awesome and meant I got to properly hang out with the lovely Jess for the first time. When I started writing Lost in the North, I had no idea I'd get great invitations like this.
- Not only have I managed to lose over five stone now, I'm also able to start wearing outfits from Primark for the first time in years. Shopping on the high street rather than online is a huge step for me.
- Colder weather means great fashion choices including my favourite coat, good boots and plenty of layers.
- I'm trying to go out more on my own, especially into the city. This is a big deal for me as not knowing where I am and being around too many people can make me really anxious. However, I'm starting to enjoy some me time like I used to before my anxiety started to get bad.
- November means Christmas stuff starts to arrive, which I love. The festive season always make me happy and I love Christmas decorations so walking around and looking at the lights will always put a smile on my face.
- Date nights with my husband always make me happy, but they are even better when he accepts the fact that I am big kid and just goes with. Also, Doctor Strange was amazing.
- Enjoying cold November evenings in my new super comfortable armchair, wearing warm jumpers, drinking hot chocolate and reading good books will always put a smile on my face.
