- I'm feeling great in my changing body, especially after being treated to some new Dolly and Dotty dresses by my husband. If I can be happy at this size, it is a good sign for the future.
- I have missed baths so much and finally got to have one for the first time since getting my tattoo done in April. I am now planning on having as many long soaks as I possibly can this month.
- I'm five weeks post-op now and can finally start working out a bit. I have to take it easy but the fact that I can be more active now is making me really happy.
- After deciding to try and get more involved with our local community, I spent a day volunteering at the Kirkstall Festival selling programmes. I really enjoyed the day and met some great people - although I did get very muddy!
- Shoes always make me happy, and now my Irregular Choice collection is almost into double figures, I'm ecstatic.
- I've been sorting through my wardrobe and it has made me realise how much happier I've become with the way I look and how I express my style. There is nothing in my wardrobe that I don't love, so now I need to get back into sewing so I can adjust everything over the coming months.
- While I know that I've not been able to eat as much in a sitting as I used to, my morning coffee order really made me realise how much my portions have changed. I used to drink a large coffee with breakfast but now I can barely finish a small and then have to wait a couple of hours before I can eat breakfast.
- After trying to decide on a holiday destination for ages, I finally booked and paid for the husband and I to go to Menorca for a week in the sun. We were going to go to Rome for our anniversary week, but we did a city break last year so wanted something relaxing. Being able to treat the husband made me happy.
- Last but not least, my nephew represented Devon on his scooter doing tricks at the start of the month and came third in a big competition! I'm so proud of him, he seriously did so well!
