- I'm well on my way to a six stone total weight loss and managed to fit in a size 14/16 skirt after losing another couple of inches off my waist. I'm hoping to hit six stone in January, so I just need to behave this month.
- I love Christmas, especially the lights, so I'm making the most of having my tree up by teaming it with candles every evening. My cats have also left my tree alone (so far), so not having to pick it up off the floor twice a day is also putting a big smile on my face.
- Seriously, I fricking love Christmas. There's nothing better than wrapping presents while watching Christmas movies, even if you also have to wrap all the presents your husband has bought because he makes them look like he wrapped them with his feet.
- After taking him to see The Nutcracker last Christmas, the husband has agreed to make it a yearly thing because he knows how much I love the ballet (I'm still working on getting him to go to the opera). This week we're going to see Beauty and the Beast and I am so excited for it.
- I was struggling to feel festive but Leeds has come through and all its Christmas lights and displays have made me happy, especially as I get to see them all when walking to and from work.
- We let date nights slide a bit last month because I was just so busy and tired all montth - we did see Dr Strange, but that was it. The husband and I have started this month off right and have enjoyed a couple of date nights outside the house, which is perfect as I won't see him for a week after this weekend. Also, Fantastic Beasts and Whhere to Find Them was awesome and I want a Niffler.
- It may be December but I've managed to stick with walking to and from work as much as possible. I actually feel a bit rubbish on days when I can't walk as much because of the weather or my injured foot, so it must be doing something.
- Christmas food is the best. End of. I don't know what I'm going to be able to eat on Christmas Day, but at least I can eat panettone.
- The best thing about December is that I've spent another year with the husband and we have a new one to look forward to together. We've gone through a lot this year, what with my operation and being bounced around specialists for my PCOS for several months. However, we've got a loose plan in place for next year and are just taking things as they come. I definnitely couldn't have got through 2016 without him.
